Title I Parent & Family Engagement
Title I schools encourage partnerships with parents to support student achievement. Title I schools offer a variety of activities to assist parents that include orientation meetings, workshops, family nights and recognition programs. Parents Make the Difference newsletters are sent home each month to provide resources and supports to families.
Do you have a concern?
If you have a concern regarding any of the supplemental services programs in the Ferguson-Florissant School District, which includes Title I, Title II, Title III (English Learners), IV, and Perkins, you should always feel comfortable contacting the State and Federal Programs office. Our email address is jpughwalker@fergflor.org
If you feel the concern has not been resolved to your satisfaction, the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has a process in place to investigate and resolve complaints. This link provides information regarding that process.
Parents' Right to Know Staff Qualifications
In accordance with the requirement of Section 1111 of Title I, for each school receiving Title I funds, all parents of students in that school may request, and the District will provide, information on the qualifications of the instructional staff working with their children.
