Dr. Jeff Tandler

Dr. Jeffrey Tandler proudly serves as building principal at STEAM Academy at McCluer South-Berkeley High School. Tandler is currently in his ninth year with Ferguson-Florissant School District and has served in administration at STEAM Academy since 2020. Prior to that, Dr. Tandler served in FFSD as an assistant principal at the secondary level and as an interim principal at the elementary level. Dr. Tandler began his career in the Francis Howell School District as a theatre and English teacher before transitioning to a leadership role as an administrative intern as part of the FHSD LEAP Program.
Dr. Tandler earned his doctorate from Maryville University. He holds a master’s degree in secondary education, an educational specialist degree in school administration, and a bachelor’s degree from University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Dr. Anissa Harris

Dr. Harris brings over 20 years of experience in education and is a proud graduate of the original Berkeley Senior High School. She most recently served as an assistant principal at Parker Road Elementary. Prior to this role, she was an assistant principal at McCluer North High School.
A certified English teacher, Dr. Harris has spent the last 15 years as a school administrator, bringing a strong commitment to student success and leadership across grade levels.
She holds a doctorate and a master’s degree in educational administration from Lindenwood University. She earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Mr. Frank Williams is the incoming Activities/Athletics Coordinator at STEAM, beginning in the fall of 2025.
Mr. Williams has served in FFSD since 2018. He brings a wealth of experience as an administrator. He has held previous administrator positions, having served at McCluer North, Cross Keys, Ferguson Middle and Restoration and Wellness. Prior to joining the District, he served as principal of Henderson Middle School in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has also served as an assistant principal at the middle and high school level in Arkansas and was an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff. Williams was an instructional coach and began his career in education as a middle school math teacher.
Williams earned two master’s degrees in school leadership and art of teaching in education from Harding University. He earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff. In his spare time, he enjoys officiating basketball and umpiring baseball games, including occasional assignments at the college level.
